Featuring a patented gliding lever, providing the adjustability of a prong belt with the ease and tightness of a lever belt. Ideal for sizing up or down whenever you need during training sessions and competitions.
The 10mm lever belt is constructed using two different cuts of hide to allow the belt to retain support while moulding to your waist. Featuring a low profile buckle - along with rounded edges and corners - to minimise any obstruction or discomfort from contact between the legs and the belt.
- 10mm thickness and 10cm in width.
- Black oiled leather finish with a red suede interior.
- IPF approved.
- Made exclusively from British cowhide.
- Manufactured in Great Britain.

If you already own a belt, we recommend measuring your current belt at the tightest setting you normally use. That gives you the circumference of the belt at the setting you usually wear.
If you do not own a belt yet, measure your waist where the belt will sit (usually just above the navel) while bracing your abdominal muscles. Please do not use your trouser waist size, as this is not accurate for belt sizing.
As a rule we recommend a belt where you sit in the middle of the waist range (at a measured 90cm, for example, size Large would be ideal). That way you can adjust the belt in both directions, depending on your preferred fit, the lift you are using it for, changes in your body weight, or when wearing it over layers of clothing or a neoprene belt.
To keep the outside of the leather and the seams looking as they did when new, we recommend using ordinary black shoe polish every one to three months. Apply it directly to the leather and then buff to a high shine. Avoid dropping or throwing the belt around, as this can damage the lever over time.

The 10mm lifting belt shares many features with the existing 13mm belt, including the patented lever system, manufacturing in Great Britain and the use of the finest English cowhide.
The 10mm belt was redeveloped to perfect the performance of the belt.
The lever has been redesigned and now has a flatter, more rounded profile. The leather has also been reconstructed and its two-layer principle gives a more natural fit to the body.

The 10mm belt is designed to give substantial support with fewer restrictions than the 13mm belt.
That makes it easier for the athlete to get into a good starting position, or allows a greater degree of back extension during the lift.
For athletes with a shorter torso, or whose legs come into contact with the belt and lever, the lower overall profile of the belt combined with the softer edges and rounded corners of the lever minimises any restriction or obstruction.

FAQ about the SBD Lifting Belt 10mm
Here you will find frequently asked questions about this product.
What is the difference between the 10mm and the 13mm SBD lifting belt?
The 13mm belt is the version with the most support. If an athlete has a shorter torso, uses a technique that requires the back to flex, or finds their legs coming into contact with the belt, the 10mm belt can give better support without getting in the way of their natural lifting technique.
The 10mm belt also conforms much better to the waist and feels entirely natural to wear. For an athlete's training the 10mm version can be the better choice over the 13mm, particularly if it is their first investment in a lifting belt.
How do I find the right size for me?
If you already own a belt, we would recommend putting it on and measuring the circumference at the tightest closed position.
Alternatively you can measure around your waist where you would wear the lifting belt (usually above the navel).
Then choose the size where you sit closest to the middle of the range (at a measured 90cm, for example, size Large would be ideal).
Does the belt come with a warranty?
We offer a lifetime guarantee on this product against manufacturing faults. Every single belt goes through a full quality control check before packing, so problems are extremely rare. If something is wrong, however, we will repair or replace the belt. The guarantee is limited to manufacturing faults and does not cover normal wear or accidental damage.
