Designed to sit flat against the base of the hand and to tighten on the wrist as the weight loads on the straps, attaching you securely to the bar throughout the lift. Featuring our patent-pending webbing construction, which weaves filament aramid fibre within spun fibres. The figure 8 lifting straps offer greater strength than a nylon wrap, whilst providing the comfort of a cotton wrap. Designed through collaboration with world-class athletes to eliminate grip as a limiting factor when lifting for maximal weight or extra repetitions.

We recommend hand washing the lifting straps with warm water and a mild detergent. Then lay the lifting straps on a towel and allow them to air dry (the towel helps to absorb the water from the straps), or alternatively hang the lifting straps up to dry.

What is the difference between the Lifting Straps and the Figure 8 Lifting Straps?
The SBD lifting straps come in two versions: the traditional Lifting Straps and the Figure 8 Lifting Straps . Both versions use our new webbing, which offers greater tensile strength than a standard nylon strap while keeping the comfort and flexibility of a cotton strap. The classic SBD Lifting Straps come in one universal size and can be adjusted to your wrist and to the bars and handles you use. The Figure 8 Lifting Straps come in three fixed sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and can be matched to your hand and technique.
Which lifting straps are better suited to me?
The SBD Lifting Straps give a strong grip on any pulling movement while still releasing quickly. The SBD Figure 8 Lifting Straps use our patent-pending design, which tightens the strap on the wrist during the lift and locks the athlete's hand to the bar. That security lets the athlete relax the arms, which greatly reduces the load on the biceps. The Lifting Straps are versatile and work well for any pulling movement in training. The Figure 8 Lifting Straps are best suited to barbell deadlifts and other strongman exercises.
